Below is a partial list of the most popular games that we generally have available at all meetups. Looking for something else? We have dozens more that rotate through our meetups, and hundreds more available on request. If you’re interested in a particular game and don’t see it listed here, please let us know what you’d like to play and when you’d like to come. We’ll let you know if we can have it available (there’s a good chance we can).

Blokus

Type: Family

Difficulty: Easy
A simple strategy game with Tetris-shaped, pieces that players are competing to play onto the board. About 20 minutes.

Catan

Type: Strategy
Playtime: ~ 60-120 Minutes
Difficulty: Medium
Catan is a classic strategy game where players trade resources and build settlements and roads. A great introduction to modern strategy games.

Codenames

Type: Party / Word
Playtime: ~ 15 Minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Two teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first, with spymasters giving cryptic one-word clues.

Coloretto

Type: Family
Playtime: ~ 20 Minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Coloretto is a colorful set collection game, where your goal is to collect as many chameleons as you can of no more than 3 colors. Your chameleons are drafted from a common pool, so there will be tough decisions whether to take what is available or push your luck.

Coup

Type: Party / Deduction

Difficulty: Easy
Bluff your way into being be the last player with influence in the game, but watch out, everyone else is trying to eliminate you.

Evolution

Type: Strategy
Playtime: ~ 60 Minutes
Difficulty: Medium
In Evolution, players adapt their species in a dynamic ecosystem where food is scarce and predators lurk. You will need to decide whether to evolve your existing species with new traits, increase their size or population, or create new species. Only the fittest will survive!

Jamaica

Jamaica is a pirate-themed tactical race game with player interaction and side goals (e.g. detouring for treasure). The winner is the player who best balances their position in the race with their success at the side goals..

King of Tokyo

Type: Family

Difficulty: Medium
Each player is a monster trying to become the King of Tokyo, using Yahtzee-style dice throws to hit the other monsters and accumulate health, points and special abilities.

Kingdomino

Type: Family
Playtime: ~ 15 Minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Kingdomino is a new spin on dominos with players drafting a terrain domino tile each round to add to their kingdom. The player with the most valuable 5×5 kingdom wins!

Love Letter

Love Letter is a game of deduction. The aim is to get your love letter to the Princess, eliminating your rivals along the way. Using just 12 cards, this innovative card game has become a classic.

Machi Koro

Type: Family / Strategy

Difficulty: Easy
Roll the dice, collect money, and build your city. Become the first player to build four special buildings to win.

Qwirkle

Type: Abstract / Puzzle
Playtime: ~ 45 Minutes

Match colors and shapes in this delightfully simple puzzle game that feels a lot like Scrabble with shapes and colors instead of words.

The Resistance (or The Resistance: Avalon)

Type: Party/Deduction
Playtime: ~ 30 Minutes
Difficulty: Easy
The Resistance is a social deduction game, pitting a team of resistance operatives against imperial spies. Can the resistance rout out the spies or will the spies sabotage the missions? A combination of logic and bluffing will be needed in this popular game. The Avalon version of the game is re-themed to the times of Arthurian legend, with Arthur’s faithful servants matched against the evil minions of Mordred.

Splendor

Collect gemstones and use them to buy cards representing mines & shops to become the most prestigious merchant.

Sushi Go

Type: Family

Difficulty: Easy
Enjoy a meal at a sushi restaurant and try to grab the best combination of sushi dishes as they go by, scoring points for collecting different types of sushi.

Sputnik

Type: Abstract, Family

Fly your rocket ship around space, as planets around you get sucked into black holes. Be the last ship standing to win.

Telestrations

Like the telephone game, but with pictures. Watch as your friends make terrible guesses at your drawings. Hilarious and simple for anyone to learn.

Ticket to Ride

An award-winning family strategy game for 2-5 people, where players compete to build train routes across the USA.

Tokaido

Type: Family Strategy
Playtime: ~ 45 Minutes
Difficulty: Medium
Take on the roll of a traveler through japan. Stop at shops, meet people, go shopping, and don’t forget to eat. Whoever has the best vacation wins.

Tsuro

Type: Family
Playtime: ~ 15 Minutes
Difficulty: Easy
An easy-to-learn, tile laying game where players attempt to keep their dragons on their paths for as long as possible.

World’s Fair 1893

Type: Family
Playtime: ~ 45 Minutes
Difficulty: Medium
The World’s Fair of 1893 in Chicago was a spectacular international exhibition that showcased many great achievements in science, technology, culture, and entertainment. Acting as organizers of the fair, players work diligently to increase their influence throughout the fair and obtain the grand exhibits that will be put on display. The organizer who has earned the best reputation when the fair begins will emerge the victor.
